Dale Waldt

Dale Waldt is senior consultant at aXtive Minds, leading the design and development of complex structured information solutions. Dale brings 25+ years experience in XML, SGML and web development to challenges in various verticals including medical, regulatory, legislative, pharmaceutical, defense, manufacturing, and commercial publishing. Previously Dale was VP Product Systems in the Thomson Corporation where his team developed solutions for managing complex legal and regulatory information including a web delivery platform which generates more than $70m annual revenue. Dale teaches, writes and speaks widely on XML and related topics and was co-author of The SGML Implementation Guide (1995 Springer Verlag).


Nick Carr
Allette Systems (Australia)

Nick Carr is the founder and general manager of Allette Systems, a 17 year old systems integrator specializing in XML design, training and implementation. Allette Systems has a long history of implementation using standards-oriented markup languages for such organizations as the Australian Stock Exchange, Sun Microsystems and the Singapore Attorney General’s Chambers.
